Placing an order
Orders can be placed on-line or by fax, phone, post or e-mail. Payment should be made in full at the time of ordering either by credit or debit card or by cheque (excluding website orders), unless other terms have been agreed. Cheques should be made payable to Adventure Zone and must clear before despatch. No goods will be despatched without payment. Any email or other acknowledgement of your order is merely to report that your request has been received and will be looked at, and does not in any way denote acceptance of your order regardless of any wording on the email. Neither does it imply any form of binding contract to supply.
Privacy Policy
We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998).
We collect information about you for 2 reasons: firstly, to process your order and second, to provide you with the best possible service.
We will not e-mail you in the future unless you have given us your consent.
We will give you the chance to refuse any marketing email from us or from another trader in the future.
The type of information we will collect about you includes:
- your name
- address
- phone number
- email address
- credit/debit card details
We will never collect sensitive information about you without your explicit consent.
The information we hold will be accurate and up to date. You can check the information that we hold about you by emailing us. If you find any inaccuracies we will delete or correct it promptly.
The personal information which we hold will be held securely in accordance with our internal security policy and the law.
If we intend to transfer your information outside the EEA (European Economic Area) we will always obtain your consent first.
We may use technology to track the patterns of behaviour of visitors to our site. This can include using a “cookie” which would be stored on your browser. You can usually modify your browser to prevent this happening. The information collected in this way can be used to identify you unless you modify your browser settings.

Delivery
Grampian, Highlands and Northern Ireland all incur additional surcharges when we deliver. We will add these rates to your order when we process them. Please call for other remote areas including Wales, Cornwall and Scotland as some areas incur surcharges – depends on the products.
For heavy items goods will be delivered by our own staff. Order outside the Kent/South East London area will be delivered by national carrier or Royal Mail parcel post. The times quoted for delivery are quoted in good faith, but shall not be binding. Adventure Zone can accept no responsibility for transport delays causing late delivery.
For guaranteed next day delivery (subject to stock availability) please place your order online or by telephone before noon and make payment with credit/debit card. Normal delivery charges will be subject to a premium for this service. Adventure Zone will contact you to advise the additional carriage costs in this instance.
We currently supply customers all over the world. If you cannot find your destination on the website and require a quotation for shipping goods to that destination please telephone or email us.
Please note there are additional shipping cost for outside UK.
If you have ordered more than one model, delivery may be effected in one or more instalments.
Delivery dates are approximate and no liability whatsoever is accepted in respect of late deliveries. If for any reason expected delivery will exceed 30 days from the date of receipt of order the customer will be informed and given the opportunity to cancel the order.
Claims
You are advised to check all deliveries carefully before signing for them. If the parcel appears to be damaged you can refuse it and notify us or sign for it as “damaged”. If any goods are damaged, please keep all packaging and telephone us immediately. Any damaged goods NOT signed for in this way mean we are unable to make a claim against the carrier so your help would be appreciated.
Any damaged or missing goods must be reported to Adventure Zone within 7 days of receipt of goods. Claims made outside this time limit will not be entertained.
Returned Goods
Where goods have been ordered in error or are not as expected, Adventure Zone agree to their return subject to the following conditions:
- a request must be made to Adventure Zone within 14 days of receipt of the goods
- unwanted goods must be in perfect condition, unused and unwashed and sent back in adequate packaging within an additional 14 days.
- No postage/carriage costs will be refunded
- an order number or invoice number must be quoted on all returns. For your own protection, please obtain a receipt of posting, as Adventure Zone can accept no responsibility for lost parcels.
Cancellation/Alteration
Any modification to an order must be notified to Adventure Zone as soon as possible.
General
Goods are supplied on the understanding that they will only be used for their intended purpose. No responsibility will be accepted by Adventure Zone for damage or injury caused by misuse of equipment.
External Sites
This site may contain links to other sites on the Internet that are owned and operated by third party vendors and other third parties (the “external sites”). Adventure Zone is not responsible for the availability of, or the content located on or through, any external site, nor for any transactions between you and such sites (including as to ‘cookies’, personal data, confidential information, or purchases of goods or services). You should contact the site administrator or webmaster for those external sites if you have any concerns regarding such links, content or transactions.
